Amy Acker to Guest Star on NBC's Grimm in the New Year
NBC's freshman series "Grimm" just got a whole lot more interesting with the news that Amy Acker ("Angel", "Dollhouse") will be guest starring in an upcoming 2012 episode as a character known as the Black Widow.
TVLine got the scoop that most of the time Acker will be Lena, your run-of-the-mill happy housewife. But because she suffers from rapid-aging syndrome, every five years she has to leech the life out of three guys in three short days in order to maintain her appearance.
From executive producers David Greenwalt ("Angel", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") and Jim Kouf ("Angel", National Treasure) comes a new world of police work where all cases have a storybook connection...but not always happily ever after. "Grimm" stars David Giuntoli as Portland, Oregon, homicide detective Nick Burkhardt, Silas Weir Mitchell as his mentor of sorts Monroe, Russell Hornsby as Lt. Hank Griffin, Bitsie Tulloch as Juliette Silverton, Sasha Roiz as Captain Renard, and Reggie Lee as Sgt. Wu.
