Generic Artwork for The Asylum's Amityville Haunting

The Asylum is back with an entry into the Amityville series, Amityville Haunting, and a warning that the footage contained within the film is REAL. Too bad the house on this latest piece of artwork isn't. Ironic, no? Maybe it's real footage from another house? Oh, we give up.

Directed by Geoff Meed and starring Jon Kondelik and Luke Barnett, look for Amityville Haunting on DVD December 13th. In the interim let's all say a little prayer for Foy's sanity, shall we?

Here's the plot. Such as it is.

"Actual found footage that documents the horrifying experiences of a family that moved into the infamous haunted house."

Sigh.

I saw this movie yesterday ( it's available on the net ). it's a total crap ! It's a mix of paranormal activity/blair witch . that movie must have cost 5000 usd + actors fees. The actors are awfull. It sounds really like a bad south america tv show (tv novela). Really awfull. The scnerio is dumb : many people die in the house, but the guy keep saying: "well accidents happen!". they put video cameras in the house just like in paranormal activiy. This movie was obviouly made just to annoy the other production that was planning to release a movie on that same subject.Avoid.

I like some of the Asylum's movies--a choice few are bad-movie classics--but their found footage movies are transgressively awful. I turned off both Gacy House and Paranormal Entity on Netflix Instant not 15 minutes into each. Best of luck with this one, Foy.
