Hannibal Bringing His Evil to the Small Screen

Yes, Hannibal Rising was a true flaw in the film franchise that goes great with a fine Chianti and fava beans. It really couldn't get much worse. Or could it? We'll find out soon enough as everyone's favorite cannibal could very well be on his way to a small screen near you!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, French film studio Gaumont is heading overseas and to the small screen with new shingle Gaumont International Television (GIT) based in L.A.
GIT already has several projects in development that the new company will launch at this year’s Mipcom market in October, including an hour-long drama series "Hannibal". "Hannibal", written by Bryan Fuller, follows the famous Dr. Hannibal Lecter and his patient, a young FBI criminal profiler who empathizes with serial killers. Fuller, the mind behind "Pushing Daisies", "Wonderfalls" and "Dead Like Me", is exec producing the series alongside Martha De Laurentiis.

Normally I would have 0 interest in this, but Fuller is great. The first season of 'Dead Like Me' is awesomely clever so I have faith.

hehe Git, here in the UK it's another meaning for idiot, bastard, asshole etc.
The Hannibal franchise was ruined with the third book, I mean where was Will Graham, surely Lector wasn't finshed with him, he was also the only person who could catch him and wtf was that whole thing with Starling.
Lector should have stayed a surporting character in his own franchise.
Bryan Fuller is an underated genius that doesn't get the same attention as Abrhams or Whedon that he so rightly deserves. Many people feel he was the reason the first season of Heroes was so good.
I'm game if he is involved.
