Make a Date with World War Z
There's lots of stuff floating around regarding World War Z from cast speculation to behind-the-scene images which really don't show you a damned thing. Like you, we're dying for something concrete. Well, that moment has come.
According to Deadline Paramount Pictures has set December 21, 2012 as the release date for World War Z, the Marc Forster-directed adaptation of the Max Brooks zombie infestation novel. The film is in production now.
That's just a few days before those pesky Mayans predicted the end of the world so make sure you see it in the first couple of days because if they're right, there will be no home video release.
The novel is set 10 years after a global zombie epidemic and is an oral history told from many perspectives around the world. Brad Pitt is playing a U.N. worker gathering stories of the great zombie war, and his Plan B shingle is producing. Mireille Enos ("Big Love", "The Killing") will play his wife, a mother of two girls, and Anthony Mackie co-stars.
