San Diego Comic-Con 2013: Dread Central Joins the Masters of the Web; Co-Hosts You’re Next Screening!

Gearing up for my fifth Comic-Con, I am beyond thrilled to report that not only will this writer be representing Dread Central on the esteemed 2013 Masters of the Web panel, but Lionsgate and the MOTW will also present a very special screening of You’re Next!
The screening is a great way to kick off Comic-Con on Preview Night, Wednesday, July 17th; and we’re inviting you to do it on us! We’ve got four pairs of tickets to share with you fiends right here!
The special screening of You’re Next is being held at 9:00 pm PT at the Reading Cinemas Gaslamp Theater with AMC’s John Campea moderating what’s sure to be a hell of a Q&A after the screening with director Adam Wingard, writer Simon Barrett and star Sharni Vinson. To enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets, all you have to do is just send us an E-MAIL HERE including your FULL NAME AND MAILING ADDRESS. We’ll take care of the rest. Just make sure you’ll be in town on the 17th.
Then on Thursday, July 18th, at 11:30 am PT, you won’t want to miss the horror-fied edition of the Masters of the Web panel in Room 24ABC with both Wingard and Barrett taking their turns as moderators that morning with AMC’s Campea hosting the event. This year’s Masters of the Web panelists include Ryan Turek (ShockTillYouDrop.com), Evan Dickson (Bloody-Disgusting.com), Grae Drake (RottenTomatoes.com), Lawrence Raffel (FEARnet.com), James “Jimmy O” Oster (JoBlo.com) and myself, Heather Wixson of DC.
Being that I have the utmost respect for everyone who has paved the way in online journalism for myself and countless other over the last 5-10 years (DC’s Uncle Creepy being very much a huge part of that as well), I can’t even begin to express just how incredibly thrilled I am to be sharing the panel stage with such a great group of journalists, all while celebrating You’re Next (which is totally badass) to boot. It really feels like Christmas is coming early this year for this writer.
The Adam Wingard-directed You’re Next stars Nick Tucci, Wendy Glenn, AJ Bowen, Joe Swanberg, Margaret Laney, Amy Seimetz, Ti West, Calvin Reeder, Larry Fessenden, Kate Lyn Sheil, Barbara Crampton, Rob Moran, and Sharni Vinson.

Synopsis:
The Davison family comes under attack from a terrifying group of sadistic murderers during a family reunion getaway. Barricaded in their secluded vacation home, they fight off a barrage of axes, crossbows, and machetes from both inside and outside the house. However, the masked killers didn’t count on Erin (Vinson), the young girlfriend of the eldest Davison son whose mysterious past has made her very difficult to kill.
