Anchor Bay Working on Halloween 35th Anniversary Blu-ray; Carpenter and Curtis Record New Commentary

Halloween seems to be very much in the public eye lately, and with its 35th anniversary coming up, word has come that Anchor Bay is now working on a brand spanking new Blu-ray of the flick.

But wait… there’s more.

According to the Halloween Movies Facebook page, director John Carpenter has reunited with star Jamie Lee Curtis to record a new commentary track. When speaking of the upcoming 35th Anniversary edition Blu-ray, Carpenter remarked, “Just recorded a commentary track for it with Jamie Lee Curtis yesterday…”

Well, that’s one special feature we can definitely look forward to! More on this one as it comes.

Halloween stars Donald Pleasence, Jamie Lee Curtis, Nancy Kyes, P.J. Soles, and Charles Cyphers and tells the tale of a psychotic murderer institutionalized since childhood who escapes on a mindless rampage while his doctor chases him through the streets.
