From the Press Release
Hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil. In a decrepit tower block, a young man runs for his life from two hooded figures. Exhausted, he runs through the corridor, banging on doors and shouting for help – “Please! Somebody help me!” But no one has responded to his cries for help, only the sound of security chains bolting doors, denying him rescue.

Resident Becky Hardman turns off her hall light and nervously peers through the peephole in her door. Terrified, Becky stands in her flat as the sound of a vicious beating rains down on the young man. Becky just can’t let this happen – she rushes out to confront the thugs and hits one of them in the back. One of the thugs punches her hard across the face, dropping her instantly. The young man is being dragged into the dark staircase, brutally murdered by the thugs…

One year later, someone has taken justice into their own hands. Witness the terrifying perils and suspense as these residents of Tower Block 31 Serenity House fight for their survival in the acclaimed British action-thriller TOWER BLOCK, arriving on Blu-ray™ and DVD July 2, 2013, from Shout! Factory.

Written by James Moran (Torchwood, Severance, Cockneys vs. Zombies) and directed by Ronnie Thompson (Screwed) and James Nunn (Cockneys vs. Zombies), the high concept suspense thriller stars Sheridan Smith (Quartet), Russell Tovey (Being Human, History Boys), Jack O’Connell (Skin, Harry Brown), Ralph Brown (Alien 3, Nearly Famous) and Kane Robinson (AKA rapper Kano).

Synopsis
The residents of Tower Block 31 are terrified after witnessing the brutal murder of a young man. The case is left unsolved, due in large part to their collective silence. A year later, with their building marked for demolition, the witnesses begin to find themselves picked off one by one by a mysterious sniper out for justice. Pitted against not only the sniper’s deadly traps, but also each other, the residents must figure out a way to escape their own building… or die trying.

Featuring critically hailed performances by Jack O’Connell (300: Rise of an Empire) and Sheridan Smith (Quartet) and co-starring Ralph Brown (Stoker) and Russell Tovey (BBC’s Being Human), Tower Block is a pulse-pounding thriller that delivers gritty action and relentless suspense!

Special note – Bonus Features for this Blu-ray and DVD are in development, and a final list will be announced at a later date.
