Writer/director James Cullen Bressack wrote in to tell us that the first trailer for his film My Pure Joy has hit the web along with a nifty new Facebook page (link below). “The film is a low budget serial killer epic with some of the most revolting kill scenes ever put on celluloid,” Bressack tells us. “We did the film on about a 12k budget, but believe me – it has cult classic written all over it.” Big words? My Pure Joy stars Alexei Ryan, Lisa Frantz, Cory Jacob, Laura Meadows, Jon Bloch, JD Fairman, Chris Chandler, Mark Glasser, Kevin Flood, Phillip Andrew Christopher, Emily Bordignon, Bailey Gaddis, and Kimberly Night.

Synopsis
Adam could be called a normal teenager; he is about to graduate high school, is infatuated with the girl of his dreams, smokes a lot of weed, and has a solid group of friends. The only thing about Adam that makes him abnormal is he is obsessed with movies. He is so obsessed that he wants to mimic his favorite scenes from his favorite movies. The problem is he loves horror movies. Follow Adam as we dive deep into the daily life of a young serial killer nearing the end of his cycle.
