Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best. Like, what’s more off-putting than an elevator ride? It’s claustrophobic; you’re trapped in a tiny box with strange people. Any number of bad things can happen. And that’s the premise behind a dastardly short entitled Going Down.
Directed by Paul Solet, Going Down was shot in one day and edited in three, and it’s a testament to what can be done with minimal time and resources. It’s a truly effective vehicle, and the whole thing takes about five minutes. Nicely done. The film stars the amazing Marc Senter and Dinora Walcott with a score by Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory.
Synopsis
Gunther Cleary has his whole day mapped out, but a simple elevator ride shows him that life doesn’t always go as planned.
