Charlie Sheen on the Walking Dead Season 2? Plus The Top 10 Charlie Sheen Movies Every Genre Fan Should See

Here's an interesting and completely unexpected news item coming in for everyone's favorite Chernobyl-like celebrity, Charlie Sheen. It seems as if since his schedule is now free, he could be appearing on, of all things, Season 2 of the "The Walking Dead".

Plus The Top 10 Charlie Sheen Movies Every Genre Fan Should SeeAccording to The Hollywood Reporter's Live Feed Blog Robert Kirkman, writer of the graphic novels and executive producer of the hit AMC television series, tells THR he would love Sheen to appear in the second season.

"Charlie call us, we will totally make that happen! We'll do whatever you want. We'll recast YOU as Rick," says Kirkman, still speaking to Sheen with tongue very much in cheek. "Andrew Lincoln will find something else to do."

Other options? "He can direct an episode," says Kirkman. "Actually (Sheen) could play a car for all I care," he adds. "He's awesome."

Though Kirkman's obviously kidding (we think), this got us wondering ... Has Sheen ever made any horror movies? So we did a little investigating and came up with a list of the closest he's come, and though some aren't what you would call horror, they'd still appeal to every fan of the genre. Dig it!

The Top 10 Charlie Sheen Movies Every Genre Fan Should See

Red Dawn
Charlie plays Matt, the brother of Patrick Swayze's character, Jed, in this totally awesome 80's Cold War scare action flick. WOLVERINES!!!!

Young Guns
Possibly one of the single greatest 80's films ever. If you don't have an appreciation for this film on at least a small level, you may not be breathing anymore.

The Wraith
If you've done nothing wrong, you've got nothing to fear! One of my all time favorite movies from when I was a kid. Clint Howard is in it, too, so it's just that much better!

"Amazing Stories"
One of my favorite shows of the 80's! I used to watch it all the time with my grandparents. Charlie shows up in No Day at the Beach.

The Arrival
Stop watching the skies, start watching your back! This movie would be awesome if they remade it with Vatican Assassin Warlocks.

The Boys Next Door
Two clean cut kids go batshit crazy and start killing people left and right.

Navy Seals
Oh, Navy Seals! Yet another flat-out ridiculous action film. This time Sheen stars next to genre fav Michael Biehn.

Platoon
A great all star cast rounds out Oliver Stone's classic war film based on his own experiences in Vietnam.

Wisdom
This is really Emilio Estevez's film, but Sheen makes an appearance as his manager at City Burger.

Out of The Darkness
In another cameo, Sheen only briefly appears in this made-for-TV film about the Son of Sam. Catch him as Man Shaving. Not one of his finer roles obviously that he landed most likely thanks to Martin Sheen, who snags a starring role.

BONUS CLIP
"His blood is yours. You know my dad said that once you do that, there's gonna be something different about you. Always." Is this the secret to Charlie's WINNING??!?!!? It ain't tiger blood, but it'll do I guess.

"No Pendleton. The white cake. With the sweet frost". "Reap the whirlwind Sheriff Brady"
