Danielle Harris to Work Magic with Illusionist Dan Sperry in St. Louis
Best known for making Howie Mandel completely lose his shit during "America's Got Talent", illusionist Dan Sperry is getting ready to kick off his tour and for at least one night he'll have one hell of a pretty face on hand to join him!
From the Press Release
America’s Got Talent” semifinalist, Dan Sperry, will be joined on stage by “Scream Queen” and iconic horror film actress, Danielle Harris, as he brings his offbeat style of shock illusion to audiences at the Roberts Orpheum Theater in St. Louis on Friday, March 11, at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The famed actress will take the stage to kick off the multi-city tour followed by a death-defying illusion where Sperry will make her disappear from under the audience’s watchful eye. Guests can enjoy a one-of-a-kind performance combining illusion and the bizarre with satirical macabre humor and non-stop mayhem all set to an industrial musical score.
Harris is one of the few actresses to have made a successful transition from child star to being one of the most recognizable and in demand female stars in the horror film industry. Recognized widely for her reoccurring roles in “Halloween IV” and “Halloween V,” she returned to the delight of fans around the world to star in the Dimension Films, Rob Zombie directed, “Halloween” and “Halloween II.” In 2010, she starred in “Hatchet II” with horror greats Kane Hodder and Tony Todd. Other memorable performances include roles in “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead,” “Free Willy,” “City Slickers,” “Marked for Death” and many more.
Las Vegas-based Sperry is best recognized for his appearance on season five of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in early 2010. After receiving more than one million views on YouTube, he captivated voters and sent judge Howie Mandel running into the stands as he chewed up a lifesaver and then made it re-appear out of his throat. The response from fans after his appearance on the show led Sperry to join forces with executive producer and manager Jason Egan to take his stage show to a whole new level. Over the past year they have worked with some of the top illusion builders in the country to create a full scale production combining magic, special effects and much more.
