Skyline Coming Home to Blu-ray and DVD
The almost good alien invasion flick from the Brothers Strause, Skyline, is on its way home to Blu-ray and DVD, and we've got the skinny on what to expect once it gets here!
Look for it in stores on March 15th.
Synopsis
It was supposed to be a simple birthday weekend in Southern California. But when sunrise arrives two hours early in the form of a haunting light from an unknown source, a group of friends watch in terror as people across the city are drawn outside and swept into massive alien ships that have blotted out the L.A. skyline. From tankers to drones and hydra-like extraterrestrials, the aliens are inescapable and seemingly indestructible. Now, it will take every survival instinct the group has to elude capture in this riveting, action-packed sci-fi adventure starring Eric Balfour (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Donald Faison ("Scrubs") and Scottie Thompson (Star Trek).

Pin Remake on its Way with Original Director at HelmGood news for those of you out there familiar with Sandor Stern's 1988 horror flick Pin! It looks as if there's a remake on the way, but fret not, this has Mr. Stern sitting pretty once again in the director's chair!

"Almost good?"
Everyone I know who saw it says it was crap on a cosmic scale. I seem to recall the DC reviews being negative as well, so what's with the positive spin for a bad movie?

The trick is to get people IN TO the evil shop to buy their stuff! Can't get customers by bashing a new release. It's all about making the trailer look like a condo and then calling it a trailer once the check has cleared!

In what way is "Almost good" a positive spin? If it's not completely good, it's still bad, no?

Still adding a positive spin on a universally loathed movie for the sake of positivity. Seems odd since DC didn't give the movie great marks when it premiered.

Sounds like verbal waffling to me. Next time try: Craptastic, lousy, piss poor, waste of time or "used tampon of a movie."

For that kind of sexy you have to wait for my Blu-ray review. LOL

Now I'm going to have to sit through the damn thing just so I have the knowledge to comment properly.
This is your fault, Creepy!
