My Soul to Take Coming Home to DVD and Blu-ray

Wes Craven's My Soul to Take both infuriated and infatuated horror fans and critics alike. There are some folks out there who consider it to be brilliant in its own unique way, and others who would rather stick needles in their eyes than ever watch it again. Come February you're going to get a chance to decide which camp you're in.

Universal Home Entertainment has announced that the movie will be hitting both DVD and Blu-ray on February 8th, 2011. Look for a more detailed announcement soon.

Synopsis
In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer.

Adam "Bug" Heller (Max Thierot) was supposed to die on the bloody night his father went insane. Unaware of his dad’s terrifying crimes, he has been plagued by nightmares since he was a baby. But if Bug hopes to save his friends from the monster that’s returned, he must face an evil that won’t rest ... until it finishes the job it began the day he was born.

"Come on! Give Nomad a break! So what if he has bad taste?! Maybe the movie is brilliant to some people!"

Don't make excuses for Nomad. There isn't a single person alive but that guy that was infatuated with this piece of garbage.

Actually you're wrong, believe it or not I've had several conversations about the movie with my fellow journos and each one has a really unique take on how they felt about the flick. Though Nomad is the only one I've ever heard love the film because he thought it was good. Mostly the affection is for how ridiculously obscure it is.
