David Hewlett to Debug the Sci-Fi/Horror Genre

Actor David Hewlett (Cube, Splice, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Haunter) is getting set to check out the sci-fi/horror life on the other side of the camera, as he’s poised and ready to try his hand at directing once again with the upcoming film Debug. Read on for details.

Previously Hewlett directed Rage of the Yeti, and with this new flick he’ll tell the tale of what happens when six computer hackers who are sent to work on a derelict space freighter are forced to match wits with a vengeful artificial intelligence that would kill to be human.

Copperheart Entertainment and Hewlett’s wife, Jane Loughman, produce. Production is scheduled to take place February 14th until March 8th at Pinewood Toronto Studios. More on this one soon!
