A Peek at Michaela McManus' New Vampire Diaries Character Jules

As we learned earlier this month, former "Law & Order: SVU" ADA Michaela McManus is heading to Mystic Falls, home of "The Vampire Diaries". McManus will be portraying Jules, who is searching for her missing friend Mason Lockwood, and today we got a first look at her character in action.

Michael Ausiello, who's been hanging out at Movieline since leaving EW.com, got the goods, which you can see more completely by clicking either the Movieline link or the below image. As he describes it, the image is from the December 9th episode (the show’s midseason cliffhanger that some outlets are saying is titled "By the Light of the Moon"; look for confirmation soon), in which Damon and Alaric grill the new girl, Jules, about her connection to Mason.
