No matter what financial and mental peril lay ahead of us as consumers, we shrug off the challenge. But what happens when the hot item turns deadly?
Below you'll find the teaser trailer for Academy Award nominated director Ruairi Robinson's latest thriller, Blinky, starring Where the Wild Things Are's Max Records. For our money it's one of the most effective trailers we've seen all year, filled with creepiness and dread (oh, how we love dread).
While details are scant at the moment, you'll see from the teaser below that the flick ultimately revolves around the fulfillment of one kid's Christmas wish - to get himself a Blinky!

I don't know was creepier,the robot or the motif of repeating the phrase "He's my new best friend" over and over. This just scored a place on my "something to keep a close eye on" list. Seriously, this DOES look good.
