Ryan Kwanten Leads The Family in New Manson Flick
The hideous crimes committed by Charles Manson and his family still very much send a chill down the spines of those who know of the truly gory details, and if over a century of films has taught us anything, it's that great tragedy often equals great movies.
Word just came in that writer Scott Kosar (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Crazies, The Machinist and The Amityville Horror) will be sliding into the director's chair for the first time ever to bring us The Family, a new Charles Manson-themed horror drama that will focus on the journey of some friendly teens who get caught up in Charlie's world that eventually turn murderous.
Even cooler? Ryan Kwanten (pictured right; "True Blood", Knights of Badassdom, Dead Silence) will be playing the lead role of Manson himself.
Look for more on this one soon.

Some interesting casting news concerning Brad Anderson's new tale of a psycho on the loose, Jack. Seems that the previously announced John Cusack may have some stiff competition.
