The Best of Horrorfest Coming to Double Feature Blu-ray in January
Every year the After Dark Horrorfest terrifies audiences (or at least tries to) with a crop of indie flicks that would normally never see a theatrical release. Up until now said movies have only been available on DVD, but word has just come they're headed to Blu-ray in special double feature editions this January!
From the Press Release
This January marks the month of 1,000 screams with “The Best of Horrorfest” - After Dark fan favorites in High Definition for the first time as Lionsgate releases four volumes of After Dark Horrorfest Blu-ray Double Features. Each double feature volume includes two terrifying horror films along with bonus materials. The pairings include The Gravedancers and Wicked Little Things: Unrated Director’s Cut; Borderland: Unrated Director’s Cut and Crazy Eights; The Broken along with The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations; and The Graves and Zombies of Mass Destruction. Each After Dark Horrorfest Blu-ray Double Feature premieres on January 4th for the suggested retail price of $19.99.
While we disagree with some of the pairings and choices for "Best of", it will still be nice to get some of these suckers in glorious 1080p!

I'd get The Final, and Gravedancers. Dark Ride is god fucking awful, putrid even.

I want the Gravedancers on blu ray but could care less about the generic Wicked Little Things.
I would love The Abandoned on blu -- hint, hint.

Ditto on The Abandoned. It's still hands down the best thing After Dark ever put out.

We agree on something. It's a sign, the end is nigh! Be prepared for the coming apocalypse; put on your clean underwear!
I always cheer for the After Dark flicks, it's a shame that they seem to be weaker every year. Sighs.
