Witness Commandos Battle Dinosaurs in Jurassic AttackWith Jurassic Park being rereleased in 3D this summer and another trip to the island of dinosaurs set for next summer, it really shouldn’t come as any surprise that b-moviemakers are already gearing up with movies like Jurassic Attack for the return of the cinematic dino craze.

Just a week or so ago I reported on The Asylum’s Age of Dinosaurs, in which Ronny Cox genetically engineers dinosaurs that get loose in Los Angeles and only Treat Williams can save us all. Fangoria today premiered the trailer for Jurassic Attack, in which a commando team hunting terrorists crash lands in a section of jungle home to all sort of hungry prehistoric terrors.

Mr. Syfy Corin Nemec stars alongside Vernon Wells of The Road Warrior fame, Michael Worth of “Acapulco H.E.A.T.” fame, and previous rampaging reptile survivor (Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus) Gary Stretch. Anthony Fankhauser (8213: Gacy House) directs from a script by Syfy go-to guy Rafael Jordan (too numerous to list). Mark L. Lester AKA the director of Commando and Showdown in Little Tokyo produced this epic showdown between man and dinosaur.

As said before, Fango premiered the trailer. It is quite possibly one of the most self-explanatory trailers you’ll ever see. There are soldiers with guns. There are dinosaurs with fangs and claws. Which side will survive?

You’ll get to find out February 11th if you live in the UK because that’s when and where it first hits DVD shelves. America and the rest of the world will just have to wait (most likely until some time around May when Jurassic Park 3D opens in theaters).
