Exclusive: Update on Behind the Mask Sequel

There's little doubt that within our genre a serial killer who goes by the name of Leslie Vernon has accrued quite the fanbase. Sure, he may not have the sequel or even body count of horror heavyweights like Jason, Freddy, or Michael, but the kid has spunk and can move quick like a cheetah!
Dread Central learned exclusively today from a very reliable source close to the production of the upcoming sequel that Behind the Mask co-writer/producer/director Scott Glosserman and co-writer David Stieve are close to finishing the sequel's screenplay, and Glosserman's looking to begin shooting next spring.
Keep your fingers crossed, people. When we last saw Leslie, he was emerging from a body bag on a slab. Lord knows what kind of mood he's going to be in, but the worse it is, the better for horror fans! Stay tuned for more soon!

The first was a surprisingly good movie. I hope the fact that the writers have taken their time with the 2nd means this will also be a winner.
