Event Report: LA's Haunted Hayride
Our next stop on the Los Angeles haunted attractions (following incredible haunts on Halloween Horror Nights and Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor) is the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride. Now in its second year, this one is quickly becoming one of the local October hotspots and it’s a nice change of pace from your typical mazes and scare zones.
Lasting about 20 minutes, attendees are shuttled around on a farm-style hayride that takes you through numerous Texas Chainsaw-esque set pieces, a church of the damned and quite possibly the scariest evil clown room in existence. And like a lot of the L.A. haunted attractions, it’s great to see that this one doesn’t skip on the gore (we were squirted with placenta from a pregnant zombie at one point). Without giving anything away, there are also some of the most genuinely creepy images we’ve ever seen on a ride.
Haunted attraction aficianodos should not miss this one. The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride runs now through October 31st in Griffith Park. Get your tickets here.

The director of The Fourth Kind is at it again with a new feature film concerning an interesting and nasty bit of found footage. Get ready to gaze in horror at Olatunde Osunsanmi's Dark Moon. Why can't I stop lauging after writing that? Why?!?!?
