More Casting News for The Raven

Some more casting news coming in for The Raven. So, who's gonna be starring opposite John Cusack as the troubled king of the macabre? We've got the details for ya!

According to The Hollywood Reporter "Luke Evans (Immortals) and Alice Eve (ATM, She's Out of My League) are in negotiations to star opposite John Cusack in The Raven, the Edgar Allan Poe-centered period thriller being directed by James McTeigue. Evans steps into the shoes vacated by Jeremy Renner, who was slated to star in the pic but in late August segued to Mission: Impossible 4 (wise decision). Evans will play a detective who partners with Poe (Cusack) to search for a serial killer who has kidnapped the author's fiancee (Eve) and has gone on a murder spree that mimics the author's work."

The project begins shooting October 25th with Budapest and Serbia standing in for 1849 Baltimore. Look for more soon!
