Highlander vs. Johnny Blaze in Ghost Rider Sequel

Here's an interesting item coming direct from the "one" and only Christopher Lambert regarding the upcoming Ghost Rider sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 3D ...
Over on Lambert's official Facebook page the actor revealed that he's currently in talks to star alongside Nicolas Cage in Columbia Pictures' Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, the sequel to the Marvel Comics adaptation which also stars Ciaran Hinds, Violante Placido, Idris Elba and Johnny Whitworth.
Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Gamer, Crank) are currently in pre-production with a February 17, 2012 release slated. The story sees Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Cage), hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is recruited by a sect to take on the devil (Hinds), who wants to take over his mortal son's body on the boy's birthday.

I'm interested bu Cage is a huge road block to an entertaining film. He was the worst part of 'Kick Ass'.
