Jamie Kennedy and Steven C. Miller to Bring Us One Evil Granny
The first word about a new horror comedy coming our way from funnyman Jamie Kennedy and Automaton Transfusion director Steven C. Miller broke this evening and we've got the goods for you to sink your dentures into!
According to Bloody Disgusting Kennedy is set to produce Granny with Miller in the director's chair. "The feature is basically a very dark horror comedy in the vein of [Peter Jackson's] 'Dead Alive' and that is the tone I was going for in this short," Miller explains. "I wanted it to be over the top and fun."

Vanvance your absolutely right on what this potential film needs

Has potential BUT:
1 - The granny must look like an actual granny; not like a man in bad drag and a monster mask.
2 - The kills should be more oblique and clever. I'm all for the blood spurts, but try thinking a little less obvious. If you're going for comedy you can safely abandon real world physics provided the payoff is strong enough.
3 - The concept isn't enough to carry a movie. In this case more is more. There are countless clever ideas that could be incorporated to make this a less paint-by-numbers slasher flick.
Good luck.
