First Casting News: The Haunting in Georgia
It's a pretty commonly known fact that usually children end up being the target in most hauntings. Maybe it's because they're more open-minded and haven't traded magic for fact just yet as we adults have done. Or maybe, just maybe, it's because ghosts can't stand the lil bastids!
Either way a new young lass has just scored the lead in Gold Circle Films' indirect follow-up to The Haunting in Connecticut.
Bloody Disgusting just broke the news that Emily Alyn Lind (pictured right) has been cast in the lead role of director Tom Elkins' The Haunting in Georgia.
The Haunting in Georgia will focus on "the chilling story of four-year-old Heidi and her imaginary friends, Mr. Gordy and Con. As Heidi reveals mysterious details about the two, her parents become concerned ... could her playmates be more than make believe? When the rest of the family begins experiencing terrifying phenomena -- waking with deep gashes on their bodies -- it seems there's little they can do to stop the escalating nightmare."
Look for more on this one soon.
