Robert Patrick Now True Blood Regular

While his character certainly won’t be winning any Father of the Year awards any time soon, word has come that Robert Patrick has signed on to be a regular as Alcide’s (Joe Manganiello) dad on the upcoming sixth season of HBO’s “True Blood.”

Deadline reports that three weeks after ABC opted not to give a back order to the submarine drama “Last Resort,” Patrick, one of the series’ co-stars, has signed on as series regular on HBO’s vampire drama.

Patrick first introduced the character on the hit series in the most recent fifth season, where he did a three-episode arc, appearing in three of the last four episodes of the season.
