Let Me In and Hereafter MPAA Ratings
Two upcoming genre films, Let Me In and Hereafter, have received their MPAA ratings, meaning you'll know what to expect if you're planning on checking out either or both of them.
Box Office Mojo tells us that Let Me In has been rated R for strong bloody horror violence, language and a brief sexual situation. The upcoming Clint Eastwood directed Hereafter has snagged a PG-13 for mature thematic elements including disturbing disaster and accident images and for brief strong language.
Both of these films are being released in October. Let Me In, the story of a bullied young boy who befriends a young female vampire living in secrecy with her guardian, hits on October 1st while Hereafter, a supernatural thriller centered on three people — a blue-collar American, a French journalist and a London schoolboy — who are touched by death in different ways, creaks into theaters on October 22nd.
