Plans Already Under Way for Skyline 2? You Bet!

Even though the release of the first film is still a couple of months away, sequel talk has already begun for the next alien invasion flick that's set to hit theatres, Skyline from The Brothers Strause!

According to Variety sales agency IM Global will be selling a slew of new titles at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. Alongside the previously announced Barry Levinson zombie eco-thriller The Bay, Global revealed they've already begun work on Skyline 2. So does that mean we have a cliffhanger of an ending heading our way? We shall see!

Relativity Media nailed the distro rights for the film, which stars Brittany Daniel, Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Scottie Thompson, and Crystal Reed.

Look for Skyline in theaters November 12th, 2010.

Synopsis
After a late night party, a group of friends are awoken in the dead of the night by an eerie light beaming through the window. Like moths to a flame, the light source is drawing people outside before they suddenly vanish into the air. They soon discover an otherwordly force is swallowing the entire human population off the face of the earth. Now our band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them.
