Wes Craven Asks, ‘Do You Want a Scream 5?’

The original Scream served to reinvigorate the slasher genre. Scream 2, though convoluted, did a fine job of carrying on the fun. Scream 3, well… it kind of sucked, and last year’s Scream 4 was a bit better than 3. So are you guys up for a fifth?
That’s what Wes Craven wants to know as he posted the following to his Twitter account:
“No news on ‘Scream 5′ yet. You guys really want another one?”
There lies the question of the day. So let’s flesh things out a bit. In your opinion what could be done to bring the franchise back up to snuff? Or should this sleeping dog remained undisturbed? Let us know in the comments section below, and we’ll pass your thoughts on to the powers-that-be!
