Fall Into the UK Trailer for The Hole

The UK trailer for Joe Dante's upcoming 3D monster-fest The Hole has appeared online as if there wasn't enough stuff happening, but either way, we've got it for you right here.
The film, directed by Dante in 3D and starring Teri Polo, Haley Bennett, Bruce Dern, Chris Massoglia, and Nathan Gamble, tells the tale of a pair of brothers who stumble upon a mysterious hole in their basement that leads to the darkest corridors of their fears and nightmares.
Check out the trailer below courtesy of Empire. No word yet on US distro just yet. We'll keep our ears open.
Just pray we get to see it actually in 3D as it was shot as such. You know god forbid we get this instead of a crappy conversion.

Am I missing something? Am I too old? I don't see anything special about this or have any interest in watching this. What is all the hype about? Sure,if I was younger I would LOVE to see this,but it just looks like a PG copy of "The gates". Again, what am I missing?

Pretty damned good trailer. Dante almost never disappoints; even his worst films have strong entertaining moments.
