Another New Actor - and Character - Joins The Walking DeadSheesh! At this rate we're going to have to add a special "The Walking Dead" section to the site! In any event another new cast member - and character - has joined the ranks of AMC's zombie epic: IronE Singleton, who will be playing T-Dog, one of the survivors amongst the zombies.

IAE Magazine broke the news of Singleton's casting. Most recently he portrayed the menacing thug Alton in The Blind Side. According to his IMDB bio IronE was born and raised in the inner city of Atlanta, Georgia, which could be helpful to the rest of the cast and crew since "The Walking Dead" is currently filming in and around the city.

"The Walking Dead" is based on Robert Kirkman's popular comic series. It chronicles the months and years following a zombie apocalypse. Frank Darabont is the project's writer, director of the pilot, and exec producer with Anne Hurd and David Alpert also exec producing. KNB will be handling the effects, and Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey DeMunn, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Chandler Riggs, Steven Yeun, Michael Rooker, Emma Bell, Linds Edwards, and Jim Coleman are all set to star along with Singleton.

T-Dog? Really? Do all African American movie and television characters have to have some hyphenated letter one word name? This is the first real "Wtf why?" so far of this show.

Luckily, if the audience hates him enough....buh bye T-Dog

Why dont yall make a special The Walking Dead section? I mean this could be the one time soemthing could be created for a sries that kept people's interest and everything and it could possibly keep the series alive, here lately horror tv series never last long (except True Blood and The Vampire Diaries). This being a zombie series and the fact its based on a great comic book series..its epic
