Producer Talks 3D Godzilla Remake

A bit of good news coming in today for fans who are hoping the makers of the next American Godzilla movie can right the wrongs of the last one. That's no easy task mind you, but they seem to be on the right track.
The Wrap is reporting that Godzilla 3D producer Brian Rogers has dropped the following bit of info on fans while at the 3DNext Summit in Culver City:
'Clash of the Titans' is important here...because it made the industry realize that you cannot do substandard 3D and charge full pricing."
So what does that mean for Godzilla fans? Just that they are doing the film's 3D the right way instead of a crappy conversion. Personally the thought of all that destruction happening in 3D gets me kind of giddy! Let's hope for the best!

Well, the shitty 3D didn't seem to stop Clash making a lot of money. Whilst I'm excited at the prospect of a new Godzilla film (sadly not a japanese one...) I'm not a fan of 3D at all, so that's fairly off-putting for me.

I'm very curious how they'll do another Godzilla remake this time around. I wonder if they'll also go viral like they did with Cloverfield.
