Maria Doyle Kennedy Goes From Tudor to Nanny on Showtime's Dexter

More casting news coming in for the upcoming fifth season of Showtime's smash series "Dexter", and things seem to be rolling along quite nicely for everyone's favorite dark passenger.

According to Deadline Hollywood former star of Showtime's "The Tudors", Maria Doyle Kennedy (pictured right), is staying with the cable network for a recurring gig on "Dexter" where she'll be playing an Irish nanny. Hey, somebodies got to watch the kids while Dexter (Michael C. Hall) is out cleaning up the garbage in Miami.

Kennedy joins the previously announced new cast members Shawn Hatosy, Julia Stiles, and the returning Julie Benz.
