International Trailer Debut: I Saw the Devil
The very first international trailer has popped up online for the upcoming film from acclaimed director Kim Jee-woon, and things are looking pretty damned sweet. Ready for another glimpse of what Oldboy himself, Choi Min-sik, will be up to in his latest film I Saw the Devil?
The film, labeled as a hard-boiled thriller, stars Min-sik as a psychopathic serial killer up against Lee Byung-hun (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) as a special agent whose fiancée becomes one of his victims. Lee’s cool-headed and intelligent character in turn becomes a monster in order to avenge the killing.
I Saw the Devil is scheduled for Korean release late this summer. Dig on the international trailer below.
