Update - Undying Gets a Director, Kurt Russell Still a Badass

It was only a couple of days ago that we told you about the new supernatural thriller on the way starring genre rock star Kurt Russell, Undying. The flick now has a director at the helm, and we've got the skinny for ya!

Screen Daily reports that Creation director Jon Amiel is now set to take the reins. The flick, said to be a neo-noir in the vein of Blade Runner and Seven, tells the tale of a private investigator (Russell) who finds himself recruited by a mysterious woman who draws him into a surreal underworld.

Media 8 is producing from a screenplay by Gary Whitta. Production is set to begin in autumn.
