Sneak Peek Photos from Paranormal Paparazzi; Asheville, NC, Public Premiere Party DetailsA short while ago we told you about Travel Channel’s upcoming “Paranormal Paparazzi” and our involvement with it. Now you can actually see a bit of what’s coming and maybe even attend a premiere party with a member of the cast!

In addition to the below image gallery, we also have details on how, if you live in or around Asheville, North Carolina, you can join one of the show’s reporters, Joshua P. Warren, at a premiere party on September 28th at 6:00 pm to watch the first episode and hear some crazy behind-the-scenes stories. It’s all happening at the Wild Wing Cafe, 161 Biltmore Avenue, in Asheville, NC, and here are the details courtesy of AshVegas.com:

Asheville native and paranormal investigator Joshua P. Warren is a cast member on the Travel Channel’s new series “Paranormal Paparazzi,” which debuts September 28, 2012, at 7pm. Warren, who will appear on every episode, is one of six reporters sent around the country to explore strange activity in a fast-paced, fun forum. He invites the public to attend a premiere party on September 28, 2012.

“This has been an amazing year,” says Warren. “’Paranormal Paparazzi’ has been called ‘the TMZ of the paranormal.’ We’re based in a news room in Manhattan, and our ‘editor-in-chief,’ Aaron Sagers, sends us on missions. Perhaps the greatest thing about the show is its sense of humor. We had a blast!”

The show is executive produced by Zak Bagans, creator of the popular “Ghost Adventures” TV series that has aired on Travel Channel for six seasons and enters its seventh this month. The all-new original series “Paranormal Paparazzi” features eight half-hour episodes, each of which follows Aaron Sagers’ (journalist, pop culture enthusiast, editor-in-chief of the Paranormal Pop Culture blog) hand-picked team of reporters as they travel around the country tracking down the most current, bizarre, and unsolved paranormal stories. As Sagers’ team reveals their findings in the fast-paced newsroom, the group reviews and assesses whether or not the stories are bona fide or bogus. Through the lens of each reporter, viewers will travel to New Orleans and experience Will Ferrell’s haunted trailer, a UFO sighting at the Jersey Shore, a teenage exorcism squad in Arizona, a zombie survival camp in New Jersey, and more, including segments provided by Dread Central.

“All this is just in time for the Halloween season,” Warren notes. “I hope everyone will come party with me on September 28th and then take our new Vampire & Occult Tour (details here) to see the goodies I’ve brought back to the Asheville Mystery Museum (located in the basement of the Asheville Masonic Temple) like an antique crucifix from Transylvania and a remnant of Vlad the Impaler’s castle.”
