Kurt Russell Proves that He's Undying

Kurt Russell Proves that He's UndyingSay what you want about the movie Death Proof. If it did anything at all, it reminded us of just how much of a badass actor Kurt Russell can be and how lucky we are that he stays working within our genre. Speaking of which ...

According to Deadline New York some interesting news has come out of Cannes today in the form of Russell's new genre film Undying.

From the Site:
Kurt Russell has attached to star in Undying, a supernatural thriller being written by Book of Eli scribe Gary Whitta. Media 8 Entertainment is producing with Circle of Confusion, and they hope to begin production in the fall. Media 8 is financing and handling worldwide sales, with Gersh and CAA selling North American territories. Russell's aboard to play a private investigator who finds himself recruited by a mysterious woman who draws him into a surreal underworld.

Definitely one of my favourite living actors.

'Soldier' is dumb fun but it's also proof just how much Russell can do with so little.

Russell is one of my favorite actors.

I agree with Terminal that he is long overdue for a comeback.

This sounds like a great role.

Now (from what I read on IMDb), all the film needs is a director. Hmmm.
Some (that have read more coverage than I have on this) call this movie an equivalent to Mickey Rourkes "Angel Heart".

Man, Kurt Russell needs a comeback big time. He deserves a Downey Jr. resurgence.
