Trailer for JJ Abrams' Super 8 to be Attached to Iron Man 2. Possible Cloverfield Sequel?

Filmmaker JJ Abrams is a man who loves toying with his fans, and we love him right back for it. Just about every project he works on is shrouded in some type of secrecy, and when Iron Man 2 hits this weekend, we'll be getting our first look at what's next for the devilish director.

According to HitFix the trailer for something tentatively titled Super 8 will be attached to prints of the Marvel superhero's latest big screen venture.

To further entice (and confuse) you, footage of Abrams talking about his new "Mystery Box" has shown up online. What is it? What does it have to do with Super 8? Is this the long talked about Cloverfield sequel? Watch the video, and tell us your thoughts below. Let the discussion resume this weekend.

JJ Abrams continues to demonstrate that you do not need to flash your knickers to the world, to get the world excited... In most cases, less is often more (studios who release numerous images and videos of/from their upcoming movies, please take note!)

He's talking about constructing, the physics of inventions, de-constructing, exploring structures, opening up worlds, kids, radios, and old time radios and old time cameras.

He talks about divorce and mentions stories with characters with parental issues.

He alludes to opening up worlds for people, which is probably and most likely just letting us in to the origin of his career, but with JJ you never know. This man created Lost.

You can't underestimate him.

So, either that whole thing was just an anecdote or a very brilliantly crafted preamble laced with clues to what is in this fucking mystery box.

Super 8 will most likely be a codename for a bigger movie about something rather epic, OR just be a teaser for the Cloverfield sequel trailer. I doubt he'd do all of this for a sequel unless he's planning to do something that will monumentally blow us away.

We'll see.

I'm motherfucking excited.
