The Human Centipede Slithering to More Theaters This Weekend (And You Can Win Tickets to the Boston Screening)
Those of us outside of New York and LA were out of luck last weekend when IFC debuted Tom Six's The Human Centipede on a few coastal screens. Thankfully, it's expanding outward this weekend, including a Dread Central sponsored Boston screening!
Catch it this Friday at Boston's Coolidge Corner Theater. Located at 290 Harvard St in Brookline, MA 02446, the cinematic debauchery starts at midnight. Yours truly will be on hand to say a few quick words before the screening, and there will be some prizes to give out along the way! How can you pass up the chance to see the movie that proves sometimes you have to go ass-to-mouth?!?
Dread Central is giving away eight (8) pairs of tickets to the Friday, May 7th, Midnight screening in Boston. To win, all you have to do is send us an E-MAIL HERE that includes your FULL NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS. Winners will be notified by email on Wednesday, May 5th, and your tickets will be waiting for you at "will call". If you only need one ticket, please let us know ... but really, everyone should share the experience with a friend!
And if you're not in Boston, don't worry. IFC is also rolling it out in several other areas as well. Make sure to check out the official Human Centipede Facebook page to find a weekend time near you!
Dig on the official 'premiere' poster below, and make sure to get out there and check this one out, no matter where you live!

It's not playing where I am.
Sighs.
Another wait for blu ray.

I read the CHUD review for this as well and I'm really glad I'm not seeing a bunch of pansy assed comments here like they got over there. They were good for a laugh though.

Shit like this and Martyrs is what I call horror these days. They're evolutionary.

Don't any of you have cable/satellite T.V.? This is playing on PPV Movies on demand for $4.99 a hell of alot cheaper than the theatres and you have 24 hr to watch over so you can see their mouths sewn on each others rectum!!!

Isn't ON-Demand Comcast specific?

Crossing my figures that it makes it to Ann Arbor, MI. Chicago is a long haul to see a movie. Come on IFC, we have two indy theaters that play nothing but limited releases!

I crossed my figures in April on my 1040SE. NOT purdy!!

Could this be the next Paranormal Activity? I really hope so, although I don't seeing this film getting as much attention.
I can't wait to see this one, although I will most likely have to wait for it on DVD since NOTHING gets released in Florida besides Miami, which is like a day's drive for 85% of the state.

Saying this is the next Paranormal Activity would probably have been like comparing Salo to Jaws when the two were released.

Paranormal Activity is much more mainstream than Human Centipede. Other than the hardcore horror fans and the real art house junkies, I can't imagine anyone seeking out HC. It's pretty rough to sit through in a couple of places, and I'm about as jaded as they come after living with UC for as long as I have! LOL
Keep the faith, though -- I bet it'll show up in either Tampa or Orlando eventually.

Yeah, I can imagine seeing Creepy walking out the bathroom naked, then telling you not to go in till the air clears a bit, can make you pretty jaded! ;)

It's getting a heavier rollout than I expected but not as much as I'd like. I doubt we'll be able to demand this one. You never know though.

I wish the Music Box Theatre was closer to my house. If DC hosted there it would definitely be worth it. Iron Man 2......The Human Centipede...,..decisions, decisions.
