British Horror Coming on Strong on DVD and Blu-ray

Whether you're an older fan like myself who grew up on it or a younger fan looking to flex your horror muscle, old school British horror is where it's at! Plain and simple! Now, thanks to two very kickass companies, several classics are coming home in grand fashion, some even on Blu-ray high definition! Hell yes!

Fangoria reports that courtesy of Severin Films both Horror Express (one of our absolute favorites) and The House that Dripped Blood are on their way with fresh hi-def transfers on new DVDs and, for the first time, on Blu-ray.

From there Don May's company, Synapse Films, has its own Brit line-up to die for heading our way in the form of some Hammer classics, Twins of Evil, Vampire Circus, and Hands of the Ripper, along with the TV series "Hammer House of Horror"! Look for these titles third quarter of 2010!
