Dennis Iliadis Tackling Jekyll for Universal

After pulling off quite a feat by making The Last House on the Left remake much better than anyone ever expected it to be, director Dennis Iliadis is ready to enter some more familiar territory and add his clever spin to it!

According to Bloody Disgusting Dennis Iliadis will be taking the helm on Universal Pictures' Jekyll working from a script by Justin Haythe, and starring Keanu Reeves as the crazed doctor who gets all hopped up on his own personal concoctions.

Official plot details are still pending but we're pretty confident proceedings wont stray too far from Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novella The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde which was about the upright Dr Jekyll whose experiments lead him to discover a way to separate out good and evil in a man, and lead to him becoming the persona of the immoral Mr Hyde when taking the substance. However, he finds that the splitting begins to occur of its own accord and he loses control over it.
