If you’ve been following along with the teasers for “American Horror Story: Asylum,” these new promo posters will look familiar. Check ’em out along with another video and some casting news.
Spoiler TV reports that James J. Collins has been cast in the role of Pierre. No other details on either the actor or the character are available, but we’re sure we’ll be hearing more soon.
As for the artwork, it’s from EW and, as usual for this series, looks suitably creepy and disturbing.
The returning cast members for “American Horror Story” Chapter 2, known as “Asylum,” include Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Lily Rabe with the newbies being Adam Levine, Jenna Dewan, Clea DuVall, James Cromwell, Franka Potente, Mark Consuelos, Lizzie Brochere, Joseph Fiennes, Chloë Sevigny, and Chris Zylka.
Set at an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane, the upcoming Chapter 2 begins October 17th and revolves around Lange’s new character — a nun — and her boss at the institution, played by Cromwell, and is about sanity and tackling real-life horrors.
