Get Ready to Step into Hell with New Indie Creature Feature Underground

Since movies have become way easier to make, finding quality indie horror films is getting to be quite the task. Yet, every once in a while it looks as if a gem is truly coming our way. This is one of those times. Are you ready to enter the Underground?

A group of friends must fight for their lives against lethal and ravenous creatures lurking underground. They will find themselves at the mercy of creatures genetically engineered by the military to be expendable in battle. Stronger and faster than humans and able to destroy their enemies with their bare hands and teeth, these creatures survive in the dark, eating whatever flesh wanders into their lair. Though they fought countless battles in Iraq, Matt and Storm never knew real fear until they went underground."

Check out the trailer below, and for more visit the official Underground website here.

Thanks to DC reader Avery for the heads-up!

I'm not in the mood for a "The Descent" remake. The direction looks fantastic though.

I doubt it, The Descent was brilliant.

This looks to put an old spin on some old cliches. The trailer makes it watchable if they didn't just show us ALL the money shots.

P.S. Hey guys, 'Step Into Hell' is a way better title than 'Underground'.

I'll rent it but I think it's more difficult to find quality big budget, studio horror films. Indie films are rocking lately and of course, though not horror, one just won Best Picture.
