Summit Finally Releases Some Fresh Twilight Saga: Eclipse Stills
March 30th, 2010
It's a big day for Twilight fans. Along with the news of a new Stephenie Meyer novella focused on Bree Tanner, one of the "newborns" we'll be meeting in the next installment, Eclipse, Summit has finally let loose with some stills from David Slade's upcoming film.
The photos show the Cullen clan at full alert, Bella and Jacob sharing a moment, and Bella caught between Edward and Jacob (isn't that new and different?). Click each to see it in higher res.
In Eclipse, which is slated for a June 30th, 2010 release, Bella (Kristen Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

A Dark Moon Rising Gives Way to a Wolf Moon for LionsgateOne flick we've been talking about for a while now is Dana Mennie's werewolf driven love story Dark Moon Rising. Don't let the love story part fool ya, though; the movie features Sid Haig fighting werewolves! That premise alone is enough for me to get my ass into a seat to watch it.
David Slade first directed Hard Candy, and then 30 Days of Night. So, of course, it makes complete sense that his next film would be...the third Twilight movie?
Wait. No, it dosn't make any sense.
I just hope they'll have one scene where a vampire goes to drink and then randomly the romantic music will cut, and it'll go to shaky cam and dog like feeding at the neck.
I'll give you this one David, but so help me if you don't use the mad bank from this film to make a kick ass movie afterwards, you will be dead to me.
