Our First Good Look at Predators: The Trailer Is Live!

Finally, the moment we've been waiting for has arrived. The first trailer for Nimrod Antal's Predators is live and online!
Dig on the trailer which you can see right below the synopsis. Tell us what you think in the Comments section, and look for the film in theatres July 7th (rather than the previously announced July 9th -- looks like they're moving it up a bit to take advantage of the summer crowds).
Predators, a bold new chapter in the Predator universe, shot under the creative auspices of Robert Rodriguez, stars Adrien Brody as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they've been brought together on an alien planet ... as prey. With the notable exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers - mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members - human "predators" that are now being systematically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.

It feels great to actually be excited for a Predator movie again. After the AVP films, I'd pretty much lost interest in both franchises. Can't wait to see this one...

It looks good. The only irritating moment came from the painfully generic 'who's your daddy now' line.
It's probably a good thing Neil Marshall didn't get to direct this, I'd rather see him making his own material. Antal looks like he might turn in something entertaining.

Must be a glitch on your end -- it's there as far as I can tell. IGN is probably getting slammed with hits since the word is out all over the Net.

It was a glitch for me but watched it this morning and it looks kick ass although I'm still wary of the cast and hope there is enough character development to make them all seem like they should be there.

Doesn't it? I think they're going to hit what a Predator movie should be right on the head. Very very very anticipated.
