DVD Releases: March 9, 2010: The Wrath of the Titans Leaves Haunted Echoes of Nine Dead

There's only a handful of horror DVD's coming out this week (including yet another release of Night of the Living Dead, this time as part of Cinema Insomnia's "Slime Line"), but a few of them seem to hold some promise.

Along with indie Nine Dead and the eagerly awaited (by some) Demonic Toys 2, there's Haunted Echoes, which gives us a chance to see what Sean Young has been up to lately. In addition we have the motion comic Wrath of the Titans, whose story was developed under the guidance of Ray Harryhausen. We also get a couple of compilations: the 20-movie Undead: The Vampire Collection and Savage Cinema, a 12-pack of exploitation flicks.

For my money the pick of the week has to be Tremors: Complete Series. Sure, it's cheesy, but so are the films, and it's just too much fun to pass up. Let us know your choice below.

I think it's pretty funny. I spoke with Matt Frank, my tattoo artist, who was also the artist for Wrath of the Titans and mentioned the DVD release and he was in shock. He had no idea his comic had been made into a motion comic. Youd think they would let him know...
