A More Human Twist on the Werewolf Legend

We've all seen what happens when a man (or lately a bunch of shirtless brooding teenagers) transforms into a hairy beast that stalks the night, but ever wonder what would happen if the metamorphosis went the other way?

According to Screen Daily that's exactly what we're going to get as Vancouver’s Perfect Circle Productions has boarded AJ Annila’s (Sauna) new project Human as co-producers with Blind Spot Pictures.

Splice writer Doug Taylor is on board to pen the script for the film, which is said to be twist on the traditional werewolf story with the main character turning from a wolf into a human.

Excited? Yeah, we're not either, but we shall see, right?

I know how this happens! A wolf is crossing the road and is suddenly attacked by a lawyer in a tweed blue suit who proceeds to maul him and bite him. The wolf then hilariously turns in to a man and hilarity ensues when in an attempt to bed his beloved begins to hump her leg. She's frightened but slightly aroused. There's even a cameo by Ned Beatty. It's going to rock.

Maybe it will be an SF take on things and point out how absurd human behaviour can be.

If so the Man/Wolf will be at the Vancouver Olympics pointing out the worst possible way to spend 7 or 8 billion dollars.

Isn't there an indie horror/comedy about this already? I could've sworn I saw a trailer for it a while back.

A wolf turns in to a human? Woah woah! Now that's wacky!

What a bad idea. This sounds like Splash only not as good.

What would that even be called? It's an anti-werewolf movie. I hate movies where animals or cavemen or whatever have to learn how to be human. This can only be a comedy.
