Official Blu-ray / DVD Details and Artwork: Dark Shadows

Following up on our story from a couple of weeks ago, Warner Brothers has unveiled details and artwork for their upcoming Blu-ray and DVD releases of Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows. Read on for a look at what to expect.

The DVD will contain the featurette, The Collinses: Every Family Has Its Demons and the the Blu-ray will have that featurette, a Maximum Movie Mode option plus a ton of deleted scenes. Look for it in stores on October 2nd.

Synopsis
After being turned into a vampire by a jilted lover, Barnanbas Collins (Johnny Depp) is entombed for two centuries until he emerges into the very changed world of 1972. Returning to his once-majestic home, he finds the few dysfunctional descendants of the Collins family who remain. Determined to return his family name to its former glory, Barnabas is thwarted at every turn by his former lover – the seductive witch Angelique (Eva Green) – in this “wildly imaginative” (Sam Hellenbeck, NBC-TV) adventure from director Tim Burton.
