San Diego Comic-Con 2012: Video Interviews with the Cast of MTV’s Teen Wolf

It’s hard to believe that the second season of MTV’s insanely successful series “Teen Wolf” is only a few weeks away from wrapping now; thankfully we’ll have a much longer season to look forward to next year when the show returns summer 2013 for a 24-episode run.
Since many of us around here are huge fans of “Teen Wolf,” we knew we needed to make it a priority to catch up with the cast while on hand at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con last week; on the press line Dread Central briefly chatted with stars Tyler Posey, Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed and Holland Roden to get the lowdown on what fans can expect for the remainder of Season Two.
We also heard more from the “Teen Wolf” cast members about a few other random topics including the super-sized Season Three pick-up by MTV, more on how Allison’s relationships will continue to evolve and their thoughts on why the series has been so successful since its 2011 debut.

Crystal Reed on the Upcoming Season Three of “Teen Wolf”: “I really love MTV because they let us push the envelope so much in this show; it feels kind of like we’re growing along with MTV in this because we are the first show to get a push like this so it’s kind of cool we’re all on this journey together.”
Tyler Posey on the Secret of “Teen Wolf”‘s Success: “I think there are a lot of things that it takes to make a successful show; so much of it has to do with the writing and these character that Jeff (Davis) brought to life. We also get so much support from MTV- they’ve had faith in us since day one, and I think it’s pretty cool they showed that faith with giving us a bigger Season Three than we’ve ever had before. The fans are also really important; it was the fans who really spread the word about the series, and because of that more and more people checked us out. It’s unbelievable.”
Crystal Reed on Allison’s Changing Relationships: “Things are getting to be a lot more intense; the relationships are going to change for Allison because the dynamic has changed already in her family just with the arrival of her grandfather. There is also something major that’s going to happen in her family that’s going to change her completely that’s coming up in Episode Nine. We’ll also see her have to choose between her family or Scott by the end of Season Two.”
