Cuddle Up with Some Warm Bodies! Isaac Marion Jonathan Levine Summit Entertainment Warm Bodies Zombies Tweet By Uncle Creepy January 19th, 2010 You know what's missing from today's zombie flicks? Romance and love! Well, sort of. But that's how Summit Entertainment is hoping you think as it gears up to give us a few Warm Bodies to cling to. According to Variety Summit Entertainment has acquired feature rights to zombie romancer Warm Bodies and tapped Jonathan Levine (All the Boys Love Mandy Lane) to write and direct. The story centers upon an existentially tormented zombie who begins an unlikely friendship with the girlfriend of one of his victims and starts a chain reaction that will transform him and his fellow zombies. Warm Bodies is based on a book by Isaac Marion, who originally self-published the novel and sold it through his website before the publishing rights were picked up by Atria Books with publication set for this summer.
